Soccer Recap: Perkins Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Perkins finally came back down to earth on Monday. They came up short against the Woodmore Wildcats, falling 3-0. Perkins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Woodmore apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Perkins' defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Woodmore, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Perkins wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Bellevue on the 22nd. As for Woodmore, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-0 win against Port Clinton on the 17th.
