Bennett Simerlein leads Christian Academy of Knoxville to victory over Lakeway Christian Academy

Recap: Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors vs. Lakeway Christian Academy Lions
The Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors waltzed into their game on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They managed a 55-49 victory over Lakeway Christian Academy. This was payback for Christian Academy of Knoxville, who suffered a 72-56 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Bennett Simerlein was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Foster Coleman, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Christian Academy of Knoxville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-3.
Christian Academy of Knoxville will head out on the road to face off against Providence Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Providence Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Christian Academy of Knoxville likes a good challenge. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Grace Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
