It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Howland had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Carrollton Warriors. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Howland never let Carrollton on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-22, 25-20.

Nicholas Caesar paced Howland's offense, picking up ten kills. Caesar got some help from Alex Slater and his 15 assists. Frederick Rivera controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Howland pushed their record up to 11-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Carrollton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Howland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 15th. Carrollton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
