Basketball Recap: West Broward Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when West Broward faced off against Chaminade-Madonna on Saturday. The Bobcats took a hard 65-50 fall against the Lions. The Bobcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Chaminade-Madonna's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lunden Knights led the charge by going 9-for-14 to rack up 24 points. Tristan Sylvera was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards.

West Broward now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Chaminade-Madonna, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Broward will venture away from home to challenge South Broward at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Chaminade-Madonna, they will head out on the road to take on South Plantation at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Paladins have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
