Warren Central came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Neshoba Central Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 last Tuesday.

Beau Bradley looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. He has become a key player for Warren Central: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one hit, but 7-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Blake Caruthers was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

Warren Central pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Neshoba Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warren Central will challenge Germantown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neshoba Central, they will square off against Southeast Lauderdale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
