League recap: Bennington gains ground in national rankings

Bennington made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,425 from 9,648. The improvement was the result of 35-7 victory over Mount Michael Benedictine last week.

Schuyler's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Justin Mlnarik has thrown for 73 yards this season, while Mitchell Kassmeier has two catches for 47 yards. Omar Rodriquez leads the league in rushing with 406 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when South Sioux City takes on the Badgers. The Cardinals are currently in first, while Bennington is in third.

Blair led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Roncalli Catholic.
