Softball Recap: Magee Comes Up Short

Magee fell victim to Jefferson Davis County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Jaguars. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Jaguars: they've now lost three in a row.

Magee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carsyn Drake, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Magee's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Jefferson Davis County, their record is now 8-1.

Coincidentally, Magee and Jefferson Davis County will both be playing Seminary the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
