Basketball Game Preview: Grangeville Bulldogs vs. Melba Mustangs

Having just played yesterday, the Grangeville Bulldogs will jump right back in to play the Melba Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Grangeville heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They fell 48-36 to Malad.

Meanwhile, Melba was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 39-33 to Parma. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Melba's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Grangeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7.

Grangeville beat Melba 65-56 in their previous matchup back in November of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grangeville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
