Baseball Recap: Mishicot Finds Home Field Redemption Against Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah

There's no place like home for Mishicot, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Resorters a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Resorters: they've now won seven in a row.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's batters probably weren't too happy with Eli Skarda, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up a single walk). Skarda also allowed no hits, which is notable because Mishicot is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 5-13 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Seth Rauber was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Jax Vogel was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mishicot's record is now 7-14. As for Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Mishicot will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Resorters: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
