Basketball Recap: Lutheran South Academy Takes a Loss

Lutheran South Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 45-41 heartbreaker at the hands of The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Lutheran South Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lutheran South Academy and CHSA HomeSchool will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for The Woodlands Christian Academy, they will challenge Incarnate Word Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
