Softball Recap: St. Paul Comes Up Short

St. Paul lost against Mapleton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Flyers fell just short of the Mounties by a score of 5-4.

Ella Kalizewski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.

St. Paul now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Mapleton, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-6.

While St. Paul had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
