            The Archbishop Wood Vikings will head out on the road to  challenge  the Roman Catholic Cahillite  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Archbishop Wood will come into the  matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
Archbishop Wood proved they can win big  on Wednesday (they won by six) and  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past Harry S. Truman  5-4.
 Jack Coughlin tossed a big game,   tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits.
 At the plate, Archbishop Wood let  Jimmy Casey and  Zach Neeld run wild. Casey  scored a  run while going 2-for-2, while  Neeld  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Neeld also put up a  triple, which was his first of the season.
Meanwhile, Roman Catholic lost  7-1 to Neumann-Goretti on Wednesday. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Cahillite in their meetings with the Saints: they've now lost five in a row.
 Roman Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Pat Buckley, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-2. That's the most  hits  Buckley has posted since back in March of 2024.
 Roman Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Archbishop Wood, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 4-0.
 Archbishop Wood couldn't quite finish off Roman Catholic when the teams last played  back in April of 2024 and fell  4-2. Can Archbishop Wood avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
