Volleyball Recap: Texas Lions HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Texas Lions HomeSchool lost against Grace Academy on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell just short of Grace Academy by a score of 2-1.

Lily De Marines paced Texas Lions HomeSchool's offense, picking up seven kills. De Marines got some help from Leilah Elder and her 13 assists. Evelynne Culver controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Texas Lions HomeSchool now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Grace Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Texas Lions HomeSchool will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Austin Classical at 6:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Grace Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against St. Stephen's Episcopal on the 9th.
