Softball Recap: Palisades Pumas vs. Myers Park Mustangs
Palisades fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Myers Park on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Myers Park Mustangs by a score of 8-7. Palisades has struggled against Myers Park recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Sanaa Dorsey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Huth, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Myers Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
