Basketball Recap: D.H. Conley's Win Ends 13-Game Losing Streak on the Road

D.H. Conley lost to Northside - Jacksonville back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The D.H. Conley Vikings came out on top against the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs by a score of 69-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

D.H. Conley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cayden Hill out in front who went 5 for 7 on his way to 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Hill has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. Samari Cabell was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.

D.H. Conley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Northside - Jacksonville lost, don't look at Joaliel Caraballo. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Jones, who posted six points.
