Soccer Game Preview: Austin vs. Florence

Austin hasn't had much luck against Florence recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Black Bears will challenge the Falcons at 6:30 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Austin's offense. They came up short against Bob Jones on Tuesday, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Florence made sure to put some goals up on the board against Grissom on Tuesday. They never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. Considering Florence have won 11 matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Florence's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-2.

Austin might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Florence when the teams last played back in March. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Black Bears were down 3-0.
