Ladamien Davis and Xavier Davis secure win for Pueblo Central

Recap: Pueblo Central Wildcats vs. Pueblo East Eagles

There's no place like home for the Pueblo Central Wildcats, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with a 56-43 victory over Pueblo East on Tuesday. Given Pueblo Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Pueblo East is ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leading Pueblo Central to victory were Ladamien Davis and Xavier Davis. Davis scored 14 points along with nine steals and five rebounds, while Davis scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Luke Beltran was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.

Pueblo Central's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Pueblo East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Pueblo Central will face off against Pueblo Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pueblo East, they will be playing at home against Pueblo County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
