Volleyball Recap: Winslow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Winslow suffered their biggest loss since September 2nd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Snowflake Lobos. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lobos when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Ayla Curley paced Winslow's offense, picking up six kills. Curley got some help from Keira Barton and her nine assists.

Snowflake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hailey Jones, who had 23 assists and five aces. Those 23 assists gave Jones a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucy Lyman, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9-1. As for Snowflake, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Winslow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Safford on the 19th. As for Snowflake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chinle on the 19th.
