Basketball Recap: Goshen Central Triumphs

Goshen Central posted their closest victory since January 11, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Minisink Valley Warriors out 58-55. That's more bragging rights for the Gladiators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got Goshen Central back to even at 2-2. As for Minisink Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Goshen Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Pine Bush at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minisink Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Cornwall Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Minisink Valley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 166 points over their last three contests.
