Central took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against Skyline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tigers on Wednesday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 15-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Skyline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Central has already played their next matchup (against Sparta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Skyline, they will challenge Marionville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
