Softball Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

Woodlan hit New Haven with a four-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 11-0 to the Warriors. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

New Haven saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassidy Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Woodlan, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, New Haven will be playing at home against Lakewood Park Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Woodlan, they are taking a road trip to face off against DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
