Baseball Recap: Pueblo Central Takes a Loss

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Pueblo Central was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 15-2 to the Bend Lava Bears.

Pueblo Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brogan Golob, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Pueblo Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Bend, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Pueblo Central Wildcats challenge La Grande Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Bend, they will challenge Littleton at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Bend is facing Littleton at the right time seeing as Littleton is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
