Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Washington walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Valley Forge Patriots 69-17. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Washington's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Nicola, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 steals. Nicola is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Another player making a difference was La Nia Moore, who went 9-for-15 en route to 18 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.

Washington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Valley Forge lost, don't look at Taylor Patrick. Despite the final result, she posted 11 points.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Valley Forge, their loss was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-23.
