New Palestine extended their postseason success on Monday against Cathedral. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Cathedral Fighting Irish. Winning may never get old, but New Palestine sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Jacob Morris made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Morris has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Morris was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
