Baseball Game Preview: Princeton Tigers vs. Dixon Dukes & Duchesses

The Princeton Tigers will face off against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

After dropping their season opener at home, Dixon is headed out to face a Tigers team ready to give their home crowd a win. Princeton fell just short of Sterling by a score of 12-11 on Friday.

Nolan Kloepping made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ryan Jagers, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Dixon suffered their biggest loss since May 7, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against DeKalb, falling 15-1.

Dixon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Feit, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
