Softball Recap: West Branch Warriors vs. St. Joseph Academy Jaguars

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Branch). Everything went their way against the St. Joseph Academy Jaguars on Saturday as they made off with a 14-4 win. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Ellie Tucker made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
