Softball Recap: Woodhaven Has No Trouble Against Lincoln Park

Woodhaven won the last time they faced Lincoln Park and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Railsplitters with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Warriors have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Alyvia Mondon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Krueger, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Woodhaven always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Woodhaven and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games.
