Daviess County extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 24-5 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Heritage Hills Patriots a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Heritage Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 15-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this match were averaging 4.05 runs allowed.
