The Red Land Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Cedar Cliff Colts at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Red Land will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Red Land's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Hershey by a score of 4-0. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly four runs.

The result came thanks to Austin Michelsen's shutout, as he gave up just six hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Red Land is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordon McCahan, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Cedar Cliff made easy work of State College on Tuesday and carried off a 10-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Little Lions: they've now won four in a row.
Jaden Miller looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Cedar Cliff got a massive performance out of Ian Ripple, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Ripple also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Michael Boblick was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Cedar Cliff kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.
Red Land's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Cedar Cliff, their record now sits at 9-5.
Red Land suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Cedar Cliff in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
