Big Game from Rosales As Booker Won 66-42
Starting off the list is Booker's Adrian Rosales, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rosales picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Unfortunately for Claude, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Rosales. Back in August of 2023 (the last time Rosales saw the Mustangs), he rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Chase Nelson Dazzles in Booker Victory
Keeping Rosales company is Chase Nelson, a fellow Booker player. He threw for 218 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 78 yards on only seven carries.
This season, Nelson has thrown 24 touchdowns (and and only 4 picks) while averaging 216 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 69.19 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 121.93 passer rating.

While Trapper Godfrey delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Claude. Booker had no answer to Godfrey as he made three total tackles (1.0 for loss). Godfrey also rushed for 133 rushing yards, which is notable because Claude is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
This is the second loss in a row for Claude and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Godfrey and Claude will head out on the road to square off against Boys Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
