Basketball Recap: Waelder Comes Up Short

Waelder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 57-39 to the Moulton Bobkatz. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 50-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Waelder's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Moulton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Austwell-Tivoli the next time they take the court. Moulton will host Austwell-Tivoli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Waelder will host them at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th.
