Football Game Preview: Tri-West Hendricks Bruins vs. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans

Tri-West Hendricks hasn't had much luck against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Tri-West Hendricks sitting on four straight victories and Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on three.

On Friday, Tri-West Hendricks really took it to Monrovia for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Jack Sorgi continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 306 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.2 yards per attempt. Quinten Alexander was Sorgi's top target, picking up 51 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Tri-West Hendricks didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Monrovia to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The Bruins hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.5 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard didn't have too much trouble with Harrison on Friday as they won 40-24. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Raiders are ranked 68th).

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Tri-West Hendricks, their win bumped their record up to an identical 6-1.

Tri-West Hendricks was dealt a bruising 56-14 loss at the hands of Indianapolis Bishop Chatard when the teams last played back in November of 2018. Thankfully for the Bruins, Mark Nondorf (who threw for 226 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also caught one touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
