Softball Recap: Seaside Comes Up Short

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Valley Catholic Valiants, falling 14-8. The Seagulls were not able to make up for their loss to the Valiants from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Valley Catholic, they moved to 6-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seaside will square off against Astoria at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Banks at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
