Basketball Recap: Cascade Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Klahowya last Friday, Cascade Christian came back down to earth. The Cascade Christian Cougars took a blow against the King's Knights on Tuesday, falling 66-32. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Cascade Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for King's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Cascade Christian will head out on the road to face off against Bellevue Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bellevue Christian will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Cascade Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for King's, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Glacier Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (King's has won four straight at home, while Glacier Peak won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
