Providence Day has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cannon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Chargers will welcome the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Providence Day will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Providence Day is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Bishop England, who was ranked eighth in their home state at the time (Providence Day was ranked second). The Chargers blew past the Battling Bishops 4-1 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for Providence Day, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Bishop England with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abby Goldean (2), Grayson Dudley, and Blane McElroy.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Cannon finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against Charlotte Latin, falling 3-0. Considering the last time Cannon couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Providence Day's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-0-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Cannon, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-3-1 record.

Everything went Providence Day's way against Cannon in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Providence Day made off with a 5-0 victory. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
