Softball Preview: Nimitz Cougars vs. MacArthur Generals
Nimitz is 0-10 against MacArthur since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Generals at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

In other batting news, Nimitz let Makenzie White and Maya Cid run wild. White went 3-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases, while Cid went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Cid a new career-high. Sophia Ruiz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
MacArthur came out on top against Benjamin Davis on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 15-run first inning. The Generals put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 18-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Generals.
