Basketball Recap: DASH Extends Winning Streak to Three

Grovemont came into Friday's game looking for another win against DASH, but Jason Judd wouldn't allow it. The United slipped by the Spartans 61-60 on Friday thanks in part to Judd, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 23 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory was the third in a row for DASH, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 73.7 points this season. As for Grovemont, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DASH will face off against Southside Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grovemont, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Durham Flight HomeSchool at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
