Basketball Recap: Center Line Prep Comes Up Short

Center Line Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Taylor Prep Tigers and fell 53-6.

Despite the defeat, Center Line Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman London Reed posted five points.

Center Line Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Taylor Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Line Prep and Canton Preparatory will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Taylor Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Star International Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor Prep's defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Star International Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
