Center Line has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Clintondale Dragons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Tuesday, Center Line didn't have too much breathing room in their game against St. Clair, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win.
Center Line can attribute much of their success to Terez Holmes, who scored 17 points, and Jordan Zeigler, who scored 21 points. Zeigler is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight.
Meanwhile, Clintondale came tearing into Tuesday's match with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Port Huron by a score of 60-50.
Center Line is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Clintondale, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home.
