Volleyball Recap: Virginia Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Virginia Academy lost against StoneBridge back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Cavaliers. The loss put an end to the Patriots' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Virginia Academy fell to 2-1. As for StoneBridge, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Virginia Academy is taking a road trip to take on St. Anne's-Belfield at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for StoneBridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against North Cross on the 23rd.
