Basketball Game Preview: King Lions vs. Leto Falcons

The King Lions will venture away from home to challenge the Leto Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

King came up short against Plant City on Wednesday, falling 55-35. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Leto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 45-34 to Middleton.

Leto's defeat dropped their record down to 0-16. As for King, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

King and Leto were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but King came up empty-handed after a 39-38 defeat. Can King avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
