Football Recap: Christian Brothers Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Christian Brothers unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos on Friday. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 28-10 to the Raging Rhinos when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deakon Holden threw for 126 yards and one TD. Gunnar Marsh was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards.

Chase Wyhlidko was a one-man wrecking crew For Twelve Bridges. as he rushed for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. Those 127 rushing yards gave Wyhlidko a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Amos, who picked up 58 receiving yards and two scores.

Coming up, Christian Brothers will challenge San Joaquin Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Twelve Bridges, they will square off against Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
