Hannah Ruiz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Brynn Maier was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Taryn Pyle, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
