Basketball Recap: St. Helens Comes Up Short

St. Helens lost against Seaside back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The St. Helens Lions were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Seaside Seagulls. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Helens' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Seaside, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

St. Helens will venture away from home to square off against Astoria at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Seaside, they will challenge Tillamook at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seaside is facing Tillamook at the right time seeing as Tillamook is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
