Basketball Recap: Greensburg Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Andrew Bowman and Jack Mckinsey

Greensburg lost against Seymour back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greensburg Pirates took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seymour Owls.

Jack Mckinsey and Andrew Bowman certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Mckinsey went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points, while Bowman posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Reece Beaver, who put up seven points and six rebounds.

Greensburg's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Greensburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 52-45 victory against South Ripley on the 20th. As for Seymour, they have also already played their next game, a 41-26 win against Christian Academy on the 21st.
