Basketball Recap: Sterling Heights' Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Sterling Heights came into Friday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They snuck past the Clawson Trojans with a 61-57 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stallions also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Sterling Heights' win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-11. As for Clawson, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Sterling Heights will face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clawson, they will host Clintondale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
