Pembroke Hill typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Rockhurst proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Raiders, sneaking past 9-7. The victory continues a trend for the Hawklets in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

Rockhurst's win bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Pembroke Hill, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockhurst will face off against Liberty North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Hawklets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Pembroke Hill, they will square off against Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
