Basketball Recap: Seaside Comes Up Short

Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 58-50 to the Estacada Rangers. The Seagulls were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Seaside's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Estacada, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Seaside will be taking part in a tournament against Gladstone at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Estacada, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Sutherlin at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sutherlin's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
