Basketball Recap: Lower Merion Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Lower Merion had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 76-62 bruising from the Coatesville Red Raiders on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Lower Merion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 75-55 victory against Downingtown West on the 6th. As for Coatesville, they will venture away from home to square off against Bishop Shanahan at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Red Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
