Basketball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Comes Up Short

Belton-Honea Path won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Greenville H Hurricanes, falling 62-16. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-7.

Macie Hanley was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds for Greenville H. Annie Hendley was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Belton-Honea Path's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Greenville H, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
